Harbor.
Environment concept painting! I wanted to focus on color and lighting more than anything else. Painted in Photoshop - took somewhere around 9 hours.

The Starhatcher
I wanted to paint a space scene, so here’s a nebula. I think they’re pretty sweet.

The Buffalugalo:
Only found in the remotest arctic regions, the Buffalugalo has the body of a buffalo with the head of a beluga whale. Some have mistaken it for a misshapen polar bear - others for the mythical yeti. In the mid 1960s, speculation arose that the Buffalugalo was able to walk on its hind legs, though no scientific evidence of this has been found. The exact number of Buffalugalo remaining in the wild is unknown. It is generally not considered dangerous to humans.

Digital Painting: Stegosaurus
In painting this one, I took a slightly different approach by diverging from the photo reference: the character stylization in the face is my own creation. Photoshop CS5.
Time Spent: About 4 hours.
